 We recently spent 10 days at the Tropix Hotel in Sosua and had an wonderful stay. We were looking for an authentic experience, not a caged in, all-inclusive. Tropix has 10 rooms surrounding a beautiful garden and small pool. The incredible staff made us feel welcome immediately. Juan cooks amazing pancakes and has a smile to brighten each morning. If you are looking to be pampered and sheltered, this isn't the place for you. But, if you want to feel a part of the culture and enjoy really seeing the DR, this is the place. We can't wait to go back.
